At Holy Presence our prayer shawl ministry reaches out to the community by sharing our prayerfully made shawls in order to give comfort, healing, blessings, and love to anyone who made be in need. This is a community outreach ministry.
Our shawl makers begin with prayer and blessings for the recipient of each shawl. The intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. Upon completion, a final blessing is offered before the shawl is sent on it’s way. Some recipients have received healing as well as comfort and many blessings from the shawl they received. These blessings ripple from person-to-person, with both the giver and the receiver feeling the unconditional embrace of a sheltering, loving God.
Our aim at Holy Presence, Deland is to spread God’s love and comfort into the community, one shawl at a time.
